🌍 Reflecting on 2025 & Dreaming Forward to 2026
As 2025 comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on a year that challenged me, stretched me, and ultimately reminded me why I chose this path. This past year marked my first real year as a travel agent, and what began as a dream quietly turned into booked flights, packed suitcases, and unforgettable experiences for clients who trusted me with their travel plans.
I am incredibly grateful, for every inquiry, every referral, every message that said, “Thank you for making this so easy.” Those moments made all the late nights, research, and learning curves worth it.
✈️ My First True Year as a Travel Agent
Stepping fully into my role as a travel agent in 2025 was both exciting and humbling. Behind the scenes, this year meant learning how to truly listen to my clients, anticipating needs before they were spoken, and understanding that no two trips, or travelers, are ever the same.
There were moments of growth, moments of doubt, and moments where everything clicked. I learned how to navigate last-minute changes, advocate for my clients, and create trips that felt personal, intentional, and stress-free. Most importantly, I learned to trust myself and the value I bring to every booking.
🌴 Sending My Clients Around the World
One of the most rewarding parts of 2025 was watching my clients head off on trips they had been dreaming about, many for the very first time.
This year, I had the pleasure of planning:
- Relaxing beach and all-inclusive vacations in the Caribbean
- Memorable family and multigenerational getaways
- Business trips to South America, with a side of adventure
- Carefully planned vacations for travelers who simply wanted to show up and enjoy
Each itinerary came with its own story, and I was honored to be a small part of creating memories that will last a lifetime.

🌎 Travel Through My Own Eyes
In 2025, I wasn’t able to travel outside of the country, which is not the norm for me. Typically, I have at least one or two trips planned each year. As a travel agent, I fully understand how important firsthand experiences are. Being able to see, feel, and experience destinations myself allows me to better serve my clients and share real, meaningful insights.
Although international travel wasn’t possible for me this year, I made a conscious decision not to let that slow my growth. Instead, I focused on deepening my knowledge by specializing in destinations I’m eager to visit and confident recommending. I earned specialist certifications in Belize and Antigua and Barbuda, and I also completed certifications with trusted travel partners such as Virgin Voyages, Princess Cruise Lines, Couples Resorts, and Sandals Resorts. I attended many webinars and in person travel shows throughout the year all for the purpose of gaining as much knowledge that I could share with my clients.
My goal is for my clients to truly feel that I understand what matters when planning a trip. This continued education reinforced my passion for creating meaningful travel experiences, not just vacations, and that passion remains at the heart of everything I do.
🌱 Lessons 2025 Taught Me
This year taught me patience, resilience, and the importance of showing up fully, for my clients and for myself. I learned that growth isn’t always loud; sometimes it happens quietly, one booking at a time. I learned to celebrate progress, trust the process, and embrace the journey, even when it felt uncomfortable.

As I step into 2026, I do so with clarity and excitement. My goals are simple yet meaningful:
- To continue growing my client base and nurturing relationships
- To plan more group trips and curated experiences
- To deepen my destination expertise, especially within the Caribbean
- To keep learning, traveling, and sharing my love for exploration
Most of all, I want every client I work with to feel confident, cared for, and excited from the moment they reach out to the moment they return home.
