For a long time, I wasn’t sure if I could recommend Cuba as a travel destination. Like many, I had heard the stories: food shortages, rolling blackouts, and hurricanes that left communities struggling. It felt like the Cuba I had once loved so deeply was fading under the weight of challenges.
